Biography
Mariia Petryk is a GDIT Corporate Partner Faculty Fellow and assistant professor within the Information Systems and Operations Management Area in the Costello College of Business at George Mason University. Before joining George Mason University, Dr. Petryk received her Ph.D. in information systems and operations management from the Warrington College of Business at the University of Florida. Her research interests include emerging technology management, digital and mobile platforms, blockchain, and social networks. Dr. Petryk’s research appeared in reputable academic journals, including Information Systems Research, Journal of Management Information Systems, The Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, and at premier IS conferences, including CIST, WITS, HICSS, POMS, and INFORMS. In 2025, Dr. Petryk was also named a GDIT Corporate Partner Faculty Fellow.
