Biography

Keith Pineda, '19, is an Adjunct Professor in the Information Systems and Operations Management area at the Costello College of Business at George Mason University and a Senior Data Analyst at Guidehouse supporting multiple federal agencies. He holds an M.S. in Business Analytics from the College of William & Mary and a B.S. in Information Systems & Operations Management from George Mason University, and he is currently pursuing a Doctor of Engineering in Industrial Engineering with a concentration in Engineering Management at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

His professional work focuses on business analytics, data visualization, data governance, and process improvement, where he has led the development of Tableau and Power BI dashboards, optimized Python and R workflows, and built data governance documentation frameworks. As an educator, he teaches business analytics, information systems, and programming-related courses across multiple institutions, with a strong emphasis on applied, career-relevant skills, student mentoring, and inclusive, practice-oriented instruction.
