Biography

Jason Dinter is an experienced IT executive and educator with a background spanning project management, strategic planning, systems implementation, and organizational leadership. Over his corporate career, he has led large‑scale technology initiatives across industries including financial services, telecommunications, defense, and satellite broadcasting. His work includes consulting on enterprise system deployments, managing technology programs for Fortune 500 companies, and serving as a strategic advisor to the Chief Information Officer of the U.S. Air Force at the Pentagon.

Professor Dinter brings this real‑world experience into the classroom through a practical, applied teaching style grounded in project management, business communication, and experiential learning. He has taught in the areas of business, communication, information systems, and professional education at institutions including Florida International University, Barry University, Broward College, Miami Dade College, and Riviera Preparatory School. He previously taught public speaking at George Mason University and is excited to return as part of the Costello College of Business faculty.

He holds dual master’s degrees in Information Systems (M.S.) and International Communication (M.A.) from American University in Washington, D.C., and a bachelor’s degree from George Mason University. Dinter is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and Google Cloud Digital Leader and has previously held certifications as a Certified Scrum Master.
