The DC Chapter of the Accounting and Financial Women's Alliance 2023-2024 scholarship application is now available. Three scholarships are available this year in the following amounts: $1,500, $1,000, and $500.
Eligible candidates are undergraduates who have completed their sophomore year of college (or 60 semester hours or equivalent) or are in graduate school by the time of the application deadline and are majoring in accounting or finance. Candidates are required to maintain a cumulative college grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Scholarship recipients are not required to be student members of the AFWA District of Columbia Chapter but are encouraged to apply. Scholarship candidates may join the AFWA organization here when they submit this application.
Scholarship applications will be reviewed on leadership, character, communication skills, scholastic average, and financial need. To apply: DC Chapter AFWA Scholarship Application.
Application deadline: April 1, 2023.
The Scholarship will be awarded in May 2023 for use in the Fall 2023 or Spring 2024 semesters.
