MKTG 481 explores the challenges of applying marketing principles and strategies to not-for-profit organizations. In this course, you'll learn how to examine the needs and desires of non-profit organizations and their diverse stakeholders (including administrators, employees, volunteers, recipients, donors, and government entities). Through hands-on research, you'll have the opportunity to develop a targeted marketing plan for an actual non-profit organization. This action-oriented approach, coupled with the chance to work directly with a real non-profit, offers a unique learning experience, providing both knowledge and practical skills to make a meaningful impact in the nonprofit sector and the development of strong network. Your experience could be applied to any different organizations in the non-profit sector including arts and entertainment, health care, education, human services, environmental organizations, and so much more.
