The Student Leadership Council (SLC) is to serve as a voice of students' needs, thoughts, and innovative ideas within the Costello College of Business (CCB). We strive to connect students, administration, staff, and faculty to create a partnership in their experience in and outside the classroom. Members of the SLC also assist in recruitment events held by the College of Business.
The SLC meets every other Wednesday at 4:00 in Enterprise Hall, this may change depending on members availability. They are required to participate in 5-10 service events each semester. The SLC is in search of new members and ideas on how to serve the Costello College of Business and ensure students are gaining a beneficial experience beyond the classroom.
Application Process:
Application: Section 1: Student Information questions. (7 questions) | Section 2: Application questions. (6 questions)
Interview: Not all applicants will receive an interview. They will be held from April 11th-April 16th. Interviews will be around 30 minutes over zoom with Jay Pulley (SLC Advisor) and 1-3 SLC members.
Requirements: All applicants must be business majors within the Costello College of Business and applications must have more than 2 semesters left at GMU. (Cannot apply if graduating May 2024 or December 2024) No GPA requirement but members are expected to uphold a dedication to academic success.
