Position Summary:

This position is responsible for supporting the Corporate Reporting and Accounting Operations Team with internal and external financial results and accounting operations for Nestlé companies in the USA.  The role will work with cross-functional teams throughout the organization (multiple divisions) to ensure accurate and timely delivery of monthly and quarterly financial results and consistent use of Nestlé reporting policies and systems. This role in the corporate accounting team provides a unique experience of introducing you to financial planning and analysis as well as the preparation of a full set of external financial statements, including footnotes that are published on the London Stock Exchange in compliance with IFRS.

Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented student to join our Financial Reporting team. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in financial analysis, reporting, and data management. The successful candidate will work closely with our experienced analysts and contribute to various projects that support our financial operations.

This is a full-time, 40-hour per week job. Employer will discuss modifications to schedule to accommodate classes, but students must be available to work 40 hours per week for spring, 2027 semester.

Key Responsibilities (may include):

  • Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial reports and statements.
  • Support the team in data collection, validation, and reconciliation processes.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of financial models and
  • forecasts.
  • Conduct research and analysis on industry trends and financial performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations and reports for senior management.
  • Other tasks and projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
