Leadership Coaching
In partnership with the George Mason University Center for the Advancement of Well-Being, Costello MBA students receive complimentary access to personalized leadership coaching. Through this transformative experience, students participate in one-on-one coaching sessions over several months, designed to refine their leadership style and strengthen their ability to navigate professional challenges using a supportive, strengths-based approach. This initiative enhances emotional intelligence, strategic decision-making, and professional effectiveness, empowering graduates to lead with confidence, clarity, and purpose while accelerating both personal and career growth.
Executive Mentoring Program
The Executive Mentoring Program connects high-achieving Costello MBA students with accomplished C-suite executives who are alumni of the Costello College of Business and George Mason University. Mentors and mentees are thoughtfully matched at the start of each calendar year and meet regularly one or more times a month. These one-on-one relationships provide personalized career guidance, industry insights, and access to influential professional networks. Through this experience, students strengthen their executive thinking preparing for long-term success.
The Costello College of Business Centers of Excellence
The Costello College of Business Centers of Excellence connect academic study with real-world practice through industry engagement, applied research, and experiential learning opportunities. These centers provide students with opportunities to develop specialized expertise, collaborate with industry leaders, and address complex business challenges. The Centers include the Greg and Camille Baroni Center for Government Contracting, the first of its kind in the nation, along with the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, the Center for Real Estate Entrepreneurship, and the Center for Retail Transformation.

Costello MBA students become part of a thriving network of nearly 40,000 alumni who make a significant impact on local, national, and global economies. Costello MBA alumni further demonstrate their leadership through the Costello Alumni Chapter, which hosts signature events such as the Annual Business Celebration and the Alumni in the Industry Networking Series. MBA graduates play a prominent role within the Chapter, holding approximately half of the executive committee positions, with about half of past presidents also coming from the Costello MBA program.
